Rustenburg - police case file Nr CAS691/1/2013:  On Feb 15 2013 Tom Hollamby wrote on the Boere Krisis Aksie facebook page that the SAPS in #Rustenburg are investigating a gang rape of an (white) man by six (black) males near the Mooinooi region after he could not give them any cash. This incident was reported to the police on Friday Feb 10 2013. Initially the police in Rustenburg tried to cover up the case, denying that the gangrape had taken place at all. However when confronted with the case number their provincial spokesman confirmed that they were investigating six rape-charges; and that victim had been treated at the local hospital. They would not provide the ethnic-identity of the victim nor the suspects. There have been no arrests. The victim was given antiretroviral medication to prevent transfer of the HIV-AIDS virus.  He had been hitchhiking to his job in Rustenburg from Kroondal about 5km away when a white Toyota Hilux-bakkie (farm vehicle) containing six (black) men offered to give him a ride according to Boere Krisis Aksie.  However instead of dropping him off near his home, they drove with him into the veld where they demanded cash - "but the man had no money", said SAPS Brigadier Thulani Ngubane Ngubane. "The man claims he was injected with some kind of drug, a plastic bag was pulled over his head, he was raped by each of the men, and then dropped in the veld. He was taken to the Rustenburg hospital for treatment." Ngubane confirmed that the man has lodged six charges of rape. Nobody was arrested.  (The initial report on BKA said that seven men had been involved in the gangrape. )

These are not unusual incidents: many white men and women are targeted and/or threatened with black-racist (and often sexual) abuse - often also by public officials: who then proceed to cover up these racist incidents.  These are hardly ever reported, not even by Amnesty International

               Such human rights violations against Afrikaners and English-speaking white South Africans are soaring under the ANC-regime:

For the past 19 years, a growing trend has been noticed in South Africa of the growing number of human-rights violations by the SA policing authorities -- where specifically Afrikaners and  English-speaking white males especially - and to a lesser extent also females - are arrested on trumped-up charges, often related to fraudulent sexual- or ‘white-racist hate-crime’ claims, put through the ordeal of a high-profile arrest accompanied by massive news-media reporting: often their names and photos are widely published before they have even been charged and asked to plead in a court of law. These arrested whites are often also denied the right to get bail - even when they are residents without previous police records and hold down good jobs and would not be able to flee abroad.  These arrested whites often are forced to spend long periods of time in trial-awaiting incarceration - where they face frequent (sexual and racial) abuse from black inmates in the often grossly-overcrowded trial-awaiting prison cells:

The attitude towards white South Africans amongst ruling black ANC-politicians can best be illustrated by the rage outside the SA parliament by the depy-police minister Maggie Sotyu (left)  in 2010 when she said:  ' all whites are punished too lightly for crimes -- all whites are criminals'.  She was quoted by Lizel Steenkamp, veteran Afrikaans journalist at Die Burger newspaper in Cape Town who reported that the (new) deputy-Police minister Sotyu responded to this report by slamming the current SA judicial system as 'racist' when addressing the news media after a parliamentary hearing. She claimed - without providing any detailed proof - that 'a white person or Boer who drags a black worker behind his bakkie (farm truck) gets away with a R10,000 fine… However a black man who arrives to kill a white Boer gets a lifetime prison sentence. However the deputy-police minister's claim that 'all whites are criminals' are not borne out by the statistics of the racial composition in the SA prisons:

The Hall couple said in an interview with The Star newspaper in Johannesburg afterwards that the attack caused a commotion, as other police members entered the fray and restrained their aggressive colleagues. Hall said: the issue is the fact that "an arresting officer refused to identify herself, then struck me twice when I tried to photograph her lapel badge.“ Hall said he was devastated, and laid a charge of assault against the police-woman.“Nobody was in control there. The (police) inspector told me to f*** off at least three times, and I intend opening a case and also reporting this to the Independent Complaints Directorate in the hope this will be escalated as high as possible.” Melanie Hall said she was horrified by the assault. “You feel so helpless. Tears of relief streamed down the faces of Braam Harmse, 50, his wife Susan, 50, their sons Braam, 20 and Darnie, 19, their son-in-law Chris Duvenage, 25, and Wesley Courtney, 27, as charges of murdering Sibusiso Titimani 15 and of having illegal guns-caches were withdrawn by the magistrate at the Germiston Court. The police 'had egg on their faces', the news media noted, because they had accused the Afrikaners of 'having a large enough arms-cache to wage a war' -- when in fact the 'confiscated guns had been legal pellet guns, used by children to hunt birds with'. The Afrikaners had firm alibis that they had been elsewhere when the alleged murder of the teen had taken place, the magistrate noted. Meanwhile these six Afrikaner men and women were publicly reviled andvery deliberately demonised by the police propaganda - who named them even before they were charged and described them as 'criminal white racists', with the local ANC-members holding heated demonstrations outside the courtroom. All this was widely reported in the national and international news media. The magistrate slammed the ‘ sloppy SAPS investigation’ saying:  “We heard that 'many firearms' were found in your possession, but they were pellet guns. People get so upset they come outside court toyi-toying (*the ANC-war dance) but in the meantime these people have not even been pointed out.  It’s always much better if you hear all the evidence. There is nothing against the accused as it stands. The case is dismissed.'

Frederick Olivier 19 dies in SAPS cell - police claims he 'hanged himself' but cannot explain the multiple bruises on his face: Westonaria

APR52011 Westonaria SAPS station. Frederick Olivier, a young Afrikaner man who was looking forward to his hoped-for first job at the local gold-mine, was arrested on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, allegedly when 'police received a complaint of disturbing the peace.' Police claimed he ‘hanged himself.’He was dumped in the holding cells of Westonaria police station for 'public drunkenness', said constable Lienkie Lefekane 'for the obligatory four-hour drying out period. No blood tests were taken to prove that the young Afrikaner had actually been drunk. Olivier, claimed Lefekane, was then "discovered hanging in his cell when police officers checked on him."  The police did not say whether Olivier was in the cell alone that night. According to Olivier’s father Ollie, this version of events makes no sense. His son had bruises on his face which looked as if he had been beaten up. He didn’t have those bruises when he was taken into custody by the Westonaria police.  "My son had a bright future ahead of him," says Olivier. "He was hopeful of getting a job on the mine, where he recently applied, and was supposed to get engaged in September. Why would he do something like this?" Olivier has his suspicions about his son’s death in custody. "I have photographs of my son in his casket. He looks as if he’s been beaten up. He had no mark on his face when he was arrested." Meanwhile, Lefekane insists that there was "nothing untoward regarding this case. He was arrested for drunkenness, and he committed suicide by hanging himself in his cell"said Lefekane.

The TV programme Third Degree, broadcast by ETV in South Africa, showed these pictures of the late Mr Brown who was arrested at the Shoprite supermarket in Kriel – for ‘taking a chocolate bar without paying for it’.  Ryan wrote: “The old man was assaulted,  beaten and sprayed with pepper spray by the police officers who arrested him without any probable course for their behavior towards him – the old man did not resist arrest and the police officers were never in any danger from him at any stage. This old man did not know he was doing anything wrong because he was an Alzheimer’s sufferer – his doctor said his physical health was good, but he did suffer from Alzheimer. “After his arrest, his civil rights were also violated  because he had nobody to assist him and his right to a phone call was not presented to him otherwise he could have been assisted by a family member or attorney. “He died within  four hours of custody at the Kriel police station . Morné Pieterse cursed, beaten by SAPS Welkom when he tried to provide information regarding crime-investigation:

Welkom police station: 2011-04-27 An Afrikaner resident of Welkom who wanted to talk to a detective to help with a crime-investigation, was cursed and beaten instead.  Pieterse 's eyes now are blackened after he and his girlfriend Rhona went to the police station on Friday at around 7pm, looking for a specific detective they wanted to talk to, to give him information they had about a certain crime.(source: Tom de Wet). A black female clerk in civilian clothes cursed Rhona, shouting that they would have to contact the detective themselves, and to 'fkoff' out of her police station. Then a male uniformed police officer umped over the counter and beat Pieterse in the face several times. The couple then asked other police officials at the station to help them lodge a formal complaint against the cop who had assaulted him - but nobody wanted to help. Eventually the detective they'd enquired after, came to the police station. And then Pieterse was beaten by the same cop again - in front of the detective, who intervened. SAPS sergeant Ignatius le Roux: kept in custody for 3 years: case dropped  for lack of evidence Feb 26 2012: lost his job anyway

One of the worst cases besides the 'Boeremag' case - where 11 Afrikaners have been kept in high-security cells for the past ten years while awaiting their trial  -- is that of SAPS sergeant Ignatius le Roux, arrested on trumped up charges and kept in custody for three years – and who was released after the case was dropped on February 26 2012 ‘due to a lack of evidence”.

Johan Fourie, former sr.superintendent SAPS Limpopo, fired yet found not guilty of trumped-up theft charges, lodges charge with Human Rights Commission: 

Pietersburg – December 2, 2008 -- Senior Superintendent Johan Fourie, one of Limpopo province's most senior and experienced police detectives, who has been waging a five-year battle -- doing odd-jobs to stay alive -- is trying to regain his job rights via the law courts. Five years ago, he was unceremoniously arrested without any arrest warrant after an amount of R109,000 in cash had allegedly 'gone missing'. However it was never missing: it had been paid over by the police to the security company it had been robbed from. He was found innocent of any wrong-doing: he had been set op by his commanding officer, senior-.superintendent Benny Nkuna who had ordered the investigating officers to ‘keep quiet about the security company statement that there was no missing cash…’. Five years later Fourie was still fighting to get his job back and asked the Human Rights commission to investigate. He is still fighting to get his job and R1million in backpay restored to him. He says he is being victimised by the deliberate delaying tactics of Senior superintendent Benny Nkuna and asked the Human Rights Commission to investigate the inequal way he is being treated by police management. One of the country's most dedicated cops is now keeping body and soul together by repairing TV-antennas and installing kitchen-cabinets. Five years ago, he was the officer in charge of the organised crime unit in Limpopo and solved several high-profile cases, including important farm murders for which he was featured on the Carte Blanche programme "A Bloody Harvest'. He's one of the best-trained detectives in the country. Now Fourie has asked for his police-pension to be paid out so that he can pay for his legal costs for his forthcoming Labour Court hearing which started in October 2008 - because the police legal-aid fund he'd been paying his fees to all those years, also refused to help him with the court costs... The 'fraud' case which had been lodged against him and four colleagues was scrapped off the court rolls within just days, proven to be trumped-up charges, but police management now keeps lodging appeals to keep the Afrikaner policeman suspended without pay and in limbo. The internal police investigation has cleared him, the police personnel-board has ordered Fourie's immediate reinstatement with back pay -- but senior superintendent Benny Nkuna has lodged yet another appeal against this latest decision. Fourie says these are all delaying tactics to keep him off his job and without an income. Fourie is becoming increasingly bitter about the way he's being treated by police management. He has always been innocent, yet he's being treated like dirt. "Police management's willfull actions against me have ruined me financially. I am being victimised,' he said. He feels that the public prosecutor's office and the Human Rights Commission should investigate these human rights violations against him.

Sakkie van der Mescht, firearm-control-officer at Rustenburg SAPS - falsely arrested, abused in jail, forced to sign fake 'confession'

– forced to sign fake 'confession' - 23/07/2008 Linda de Beer, Beeld - Rustenburg - A hunting trip turned into a nightmare for a former police officer when he was kept in a crowded cell for a weekend for trumped up 'crimen injuria' charges, along with people who assaulted him and wanted to rape him.These cellmates also ejaculated into his drinking water. Due to this hell he had to endure in the police cell, and after he was threatened with another seven days just like it, he pleaded guilty on June 30 in Madikwe Magistrate's Court to a charge of crimen injuria. His lawyer is appealing against this verdict because it was extracted under extreme duress.
Until March, Van der Mescht had been the police's appointed firearm official in Rustenburg. In 2008, he was working as a security manager for a hotel group to keep his family fed… On June 27 2008, the 37-year-old Afrikaner cop was arrested, stripped naked and assaulted repeatedly in the cells by inmates. He also was stabbed in the head with a knife and another sharp object. His cellmates also tried to rape him, but he fought with all his might to prevent this. A knife was held to his genitals while the men threatened to cut them off. After this, he had to sit on the cold cell floor for a long time before his clothes were given back to him, said Van der Mescht on Monday.
Van der Mescht, a father of two, did not eat or drink anything for the whole weekend: his cellmates apparently ejaculated into the water that was offered to him. He said the police visited the cell only once every morning and once every evening. Since his experience at the end of June, nightmares have been preventing Van der Mescht from sleeping. His lawyer, Carl Arnold, said they were waiting on the test results for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections because of the dirty knife that was used on Van der Mescht.On June 27 2008, Van der Mescht was part of a group who went hunting in the Madikwe Trust area. He was at their camp when two fellow hunters in a bakkie were stopped by police.They were unable to show the licence of another hunter's firearm that was in the car. After an assurance that someone would go to show them the licence, the police left without taking further action. Arnold said Van der Mescht -- until March the Rustenburg police's former firearm-license officer -- and another man drove after the police with the other hunter's firearm licence and identity document, but they repeatedly ignored him when he tried to show the documents to them. Van der Mescht and the driver of the bakkie he was in, then stopped at a place where a few police vehicles were standing next to the road. Some of the police officers apparently spotted him and stormed at Van der Mescht. The door of the bakkie was yanked open and he was jerked out by the arm. Van der Mescht said he told them he did not appreciate their actions.At that, he was thrown into the back of a police van. They apparently drove around with him for more than an hour before he was taken to Madikwe police station. He said: "I was arrested for crimen injuria and intimidation." Van der Mescht's wife was rudely chased from the police station when she wanted to see her husband on the Saturday, she told the news-media. She apparently also was threatened with arrest. On June 30, Van der Mescht was forced to plead guilty in Madikwe Magistrate's Court under extreme duress to a charge of crimen injuria, after he was threatened 'with another seven days in the cells.'North West police's Captain Aafje Botma claimed that 'Van der Mescht threatened and swore at the police officer when they were driving next to each other' and that the former police officer 'was taken to a hospital for treatment'.She also denied that his wife had been kept from visiting him -- and said police 'had visited the cells every hour...' However, Botma was at a loss to answer a question about how a sharp object got into the prisoners' cell.
